Meet Ted
Curiosity turned into a lifelong pursuit.
Health and nutrition have fascinated Ted Voorhees for most of his life.
He earned his degree in Nutritional Science from Florida State University, but his education did not stop when college ended.
While building a successful career in business, Ted continued studying nutrition, supplementation, exercise and human performance.
Today, that curiosity has grown into ongoing study of peptide science, bioregulators, metabolic health, recovery, healthy aging, sleep and emerging wellness research. He often spends his evenings reading, learning and following new research.
“I love the science. I love learning. But what really matters to me is being able to use what I've learned to help somebody else.”
It Became Personal
At 50, Ted decided he wanted a different future.
Ted's interest in health eventually became deeply personal.
Around age 50, he decided to change the direction of his health. At one point, he weighed about 275 pounds.
His transformation didn't come from one magic answer.
“I'm not Mr. Perfect.”
He still enjoys life. The difference is that he began approaching health intentionally.

- Exercise
- Sleep
- Supplementation
- Education
- Consistency

Today, movement is part of his everyday life: resistance training, mountain biking, hiking and other daily activity. His own experience ultimately strengthened his desire to help other people.
Ted's personal experience. Individual experiences vary. No single product or approach is implied.
The Peptide Principle
Start with the person. Not the product.
Before discussing any options, Ted believes you first need to understand the individual.
Peptides can be one part of the conversation. Nutrition, movement, sleep, recovery and the fundamentals still matter.
- What are you trying to accomplish?
- How are you sleeping?
- How active are you?
- What does your nutrition look like?
- What are you already doing?
- What are you trying to understand?
EDUCATION BEFORE ACTION.
What Ted Studies
Six areas of ongoing study.
Explored through reading, research and conversation. Always as education, never as a promise.
Peptide Science
How peptides work as signaling molecules in the body, and what current research does and doesn't yet show.
Nutrition & Supplementation
The fundamentals of eating well, and how to think critically about supplements, evidence and quality.
Metabolic Health & Body Composition
How energy, blood sugar, muscle and body fat relate to each other over time.
Recovery & Performance
Sleep, training load and rest, and how they shape the way people feel and perform.
Bioregulators & Emerging Research
Following newer areas of study with curiosity and a healthy respect for what is still unknown.
Healthy Aging
Staying strong, mobile and engaged across the decades, with habits built for the long term.
Why Education Matters
There's no shortage of health information. Understanding it is the difficult part.
Ted often meets people who have heard about a peptide, supplement or emerging wellness approach but aren't sure how to make sense of what they're hearing.
- —Make complicated information easier to understand.
- —Organize what you've been hearing.
- —Identify better questions to ask the appropriate professionals.
Where Ted learns
- Medical professionals
- Functional medicine physicians
- Researchers
- Published studies
- Emerging scientific literature
When something new appears, Ted studies it.
Ted isn't a physician and doesn't diagnose or prescribe. He helps you understand what you're hearing and prepare better questions for the licensed professionals who do.
